The Independent Review of Invest NI Panel have this week commenced a series of face-to-face engagements with a variety of key stakeholders on the performance and future role of Invest NI.
Over two days in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry, sessions were held with DfE; Invest NI’s Board and Leadership team; Business Representative Organisations; members of the NI Chamber and Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, political parties and the North West Regional College.
Commenting on the engagements, Sir Michael Lyons said: “I am pleased that so many stakeholders accepted the invitation to meet with the Panel and used the opportunity to put forth their valuable views on the performance and future of the organisation. Stakeholder opinion coupled with a solid evidence base from our own research will be vital in ensuring we develop robust recommendations for the future.”
The Panel will be conducting further regional meetings over the coming months to ensure that as many voices as possible from across Northern Ireland are heard.
